The Core i7-9700F sits between Core i5-12400 and Ryzen 7 1800X. It is 1.8% lower than the Core i5-12400 while being 2.8% higher than the Ryzen 7 1800X. The Core i7-9700F's performance earns it the 33rd place. The less expensive 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X provides far more performance in these tests, and it also sells for ~$274. That higher score is a byproduct of the Ryzen 7 3700X's extra threads. Overall, the Core i7-9700F is a very good performer with its 8-cores and 8-threads in this benchmark.
