The A4-7300 is one of AMD's budget Desktop processors. It was released in 2013 with 2 cores and 2 threads. With base clock at 3.8GHz, max speed at 4GHz, and a 65W power rating. The A4-7300 is based on the Richland 32nm family and is part of the A4 series.
A4-7300 is also the successor of AMD's last gen A4-5300 processor that was based on the Piledriver and 32nm process and was released in 2012.
Value seekers who aren't afraid to press the Precision Boost Overdrive button and have sufficient cooling should look to the A4-6320 for roughly equivalent performance to the A4-7300, particularly if gaming factors heavily into the buying decision. That could save you money, reinforcing our decision to give the A4-6320 an Editor's Choice award.
One of the nice things about the AMD A4-7300 processors is that the retail boxed models come with a CPU cooler. So, you can pick something like the AMD A4-7300 up for $102.55 and don’t need to spend any extra money on CPU cooling.
The AMD A4-7300 retail boxed processor comes with the traditional ‘pancake’ CPU cooler. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done on this processor which is rated at 65W TDP. You do not need to have an aftermarket cooling solution unless you want to.
The A4-7300 clocks up to 4Ghz just as it promises on the box, and with AMD’s software you can take one of the cores all the way up to 4.1GHz. However, don’t expect to get much beyond that without seriously upgrading your cooling solution and manually tweaking voltages behind the operating system level.
That said, to squeeze out all the potential of this surprisingly potent budget chip, you’ll want (and need) to splurge on an enthusiast-grade A55, A75, A85X motherboard.
Below is a comparison of all graphics cards average FPS performance (using an average of 80+ games at ultra quality settings), combined with the AMD A4-7300.

Laptop not PC
make sure your laptop is properly cooled (compressed air at the fans can go a long way) - don’t block any air vents - and update your drivers and windows to the latest versions. make sure nothing else on your pc is taking up any resources and be sure to turn down your graphic settings in game if your computer can’t handle it.
i do all of that the temp doesn't even go higher than 70 which i assume is pretty good for a laptop the fans works properly but i still get some frame drops i mean in fifa 20 it should run at 90 fps at ultra high settings 1080 but when i play it on minimum settings turning on vsync it keeps dropping under 60 fps
i have an ssd but only for the windows would it really help if i put any game on it?
I have a PNY Verto 7300 gt and I can't find the driver. If anyone knows can you tell me. BTW i'm on windows
